Irish Gastro Pub
The term “Gastropub” was coined in 1991, when David Eyre and Mike Belben took over The Eagle pub in Clerkenwell, North London. Traditionally, British and Irish pubs were drinking establishments and little emphasis was placed on the serving of good food. If pubs served meals they were usually basic cold basic dishes such as toasted cheese and ham sandwiches or a ploughman’s lunch.
The Castle combines Traditional Irish Pub Culture with Fine Dining, making The Castle the perfect venue for family and friends.
Our renowned Executive chef Ed Raethorne has curated a menu which delivers exquisite taste with an immaculate presentation that caters to all.
